Discovering early her passion for art as well a love for animals it was only natural she would combine both nature and wildlife. Trying to communicate an awareness of the magnificent yet fragile beauty of our world.

ABOUT MY STORY

Rip it up

Art has always been my way of translating the beauty of the world into something tangible. It is my lifelong love for painting that truly drives my work. For me a blank canvas is a window to capture a feeling, a moment, and a breath of light on canvas.

INSPIRATION AND STYLE

My greatest love is the great outdoors. I am inspired by the raw beauty of natural scenery and the untamed spirit of nature. Whether hiking the Grand Canyon or walking the beaches of Washington and the mountains of Montana I want to bring that wild energy into ever piece of work. I want to share the awe and beauty I feel when I am in nature.

Education

After New Haven College I moved to Las Vegas , Nevada where I still resign. I was employed at the MGM. It was there that I started drawing and painting the MGM lion {that lion chewed up many of my pencils!) and the tigers of Sigfrid and Roy. I continued my studies with workshops with Jessica Zemsky, Jack Hines, Veryl Goodnight and Robert Bateman. My work has been in issues of Sporting Classic and US Magazine. with a one woman shoe at Enterprise Gallery
